Christina Oser, CNM, WHNP, LM

Christina Oser graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006 with an advanced practice degree in midwifery and women’s health. She is certified as a Nurse Midwife and a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with many years of experience in home birth. She moved to Madison, Wisconsin in 2014, where she is licensed as a midwife.

Christina has worked in the homebirth setting since 2001 and owned a busy homebirth practice in the West Suburbs of Chicago from 2009 to 2014. She moved to Wisconsin to encourage her husband in his career as a power engineer, and is enjoying the wonderful atmosphere surrounding midwifery in Madison. Christina has a great respect for the natural process of pregnancy, birth, and lactation, believing that women are created by God with the natural ability to do these things well. She cares for women with a holistic focus and works together with other healing arts professionals to provide a wide scope of care for her clients.

Christina has experienced motherhood through birth, adoption, and foster care. She teaches three of her five children at home. She is actively involved in her church and homeschool communities. She enjoys being outdoors in the warmer weather, and reading good books in any weather!
